Michael Mann, whose name was often quoted in the leaked emails from the Climate Research Unit which eventually spun off ClimateGate has been exonerated of scientific misconduct by a Penn State University academic board.  However, of the four charges again Mann, one will proceed with an investigation.  The Gore Lied site has many of the details of that investigation.
