Investigation Could Freeze Global Warming Research Funds

The investigation into Michael Mann by a Penn State academics board could freeze global warming research funds if a Congressional Republican has his way. Representative Darrell Issa of California, who also is the top Republican on the House investigations committee, said the investigation calls into question the credibility of Mann. Representative Issa has called for a freeze on all grants and funding until the investigation is complete, saying “[t]axpayers should not be paying for propaganda masquerading as science.”
