Now Global Warming Affects Sea Lion Migration

Galapagos sea lions aren’t going to be in Galapagos much longer, thanks to global warming. A colony of about 30 sea lions has migrated about 1,000 southeast to the coast of Peru because of warming sea waters caused by climate change – an increase of about six degrees Centigrade over the last decade. Isn’t six degrees Centigrade even high for the 100-year estimates put together by climatologists? Biologist Michael Moore (no, not that Michael Moore) says it’s just too easy to blame migrations on climate change. He’s right. How many things are blamed on global warming now? Everything?
